That "men don't care much about their hair" is a myth (and quite outdated, by the way). There are no gender labels, but rather routines and good practices to follow.
In fact, not treating problems like dandruff or itching for a long time can accelerate, among other things, the dreaded hair loss.
But there's a solution for everything, and above all, prevention of damage in this easy and quick guide to sporting advertisement-worthy hair.
We also recommend reading the following article if you suffer from scalp sensitivity.
1) Wash your hair in moderation.
In Spain, most men have short hair. And most wash their hair every day. Some even several times a day. In that regard, there are several problems to comment on: 1) If you are one of those who uses anything as shampoo, you should know that inappropriate soaps can remove the natural oils from the scalp that keep your hair healthy. 2) When you wash your hair too frequently, your scalp can go into "total alert mode" and start producing sebum like crazy to compensate for the loss of natural oils that have been removed by the soap. This means that your hair will look like a cow licked it, and you'll want to wash your hair more, which is a vicious cycle that even the smartest person can't break.
Below you will find 3 different STMNT shampoo options. A brand we really like for its quality, smell, finish... and also because it has somehow rewritten the standards of men's grooming.

2) Conditioner for short hair too (and beards!)
It sounds like an unnecessary extra step, but conditioner is not just for shampoo commercials. It truly softens, moisturizes, and brings life to your hair: both on your head and your beard. Use it after shampoo, just a pea-sized amount, a little more if you have long hair, applying it to the ends and letting it sit before rinsing. It's only a few extra minutes in your daily routine, and the difference is very noticeable.
For a soft finish.

- Hydrating formula with activated charcoal

How to apply?
Apply to washed, damp hair. Rinse thoroughly. Can be used daily.
3) Rinse well
Just as it's important to take a few minutes to gently massage your scalp while applying shampoo (excellent for activating hair growth), it's vital for your hair's health to take the necessary time to rinse it. Otherwise, product residues can end up clogging hair follicles, preventing growth and, in turn, exacerbating problems like hair loss, dandruff, loss of shine, itching, etc.
4) Drying is not rubbing forcefully
No matter how much you want to show off your gym progress, there's no need to rub your hair with the towel using all your arm strength. Nothing. Gently wrap your hair with a towel to remove moisture. Leave it for a while and then squeeze with open hands, gently patting.
5) Air dry or with heat protectant
If you use a blow dryer, get used to applying a heat protectant to your hair beforehand. Your hair will thank you. Use a medium temperature and a diffuser if you have wavy hair.
On the right, the STYLING SPRAY. Nomad Barber Grooming Spray
Its non-sticky formula provides light, non-tacky hold and a natural finish with a thicker hair feel.
Makes styling and blow-drying easier.
6) Use a Good Styling Product
Wax, pomade, gel, spray… The world of styling products is vast. Choose one that works for your style and hair type. Just make sure to use a little bit, a tiny bit, whatever the packaging indicates. If you apply the product to your hands and then to your hair, not only does it distribute better, but you use less and avoid the famous "helmet hair" look.
