Straightening service with Goldwell Structure + Shine.

Never use Structure + Shine products alone, but as part of a straightening service.

Wear gloves.

The Goldwell Structure + Shine straightening service is not recommended for afro hair.

1. Shampoo with Dualsenses Deep Cleansing Shampoo.

Do not massage the scalp to avoid sensitizing the skin. Rinse and then towel-dry your hair.

2. Spray Structure + Shine Optimizer to make hair more manageable and even out the structure. Do not rinse.

3. Comb to detangle hair.

4. For sensitive hair only, apply Structure + Shine Protection with a brush, focusing on the most damaged areas of the hair.

5. Divide hair into 6 sections: nape right-left, parietal area (top of head) right-left, frontal area right-left.

6. With a brush, apply Structure + Shine Agent 1. Apply pure, undiluted or mixed.

Recommended dosages:

- Short hair 80gr

- Medium length 100gr

- Long hair 120gr

Distribute starting from the nape, apply in fine strands (approximately 0.5 cm) and leave 1 cm untreated at the root.

Cover with foil and leave on for 18-25 minutes.

7. To check that the treatment was successful, perform a knot test on 2-3 very fine strands in different areas of the head:

Knot test: Form a knot, then tighten by pulling to create a small loop and release the tension. If the knot remains closed, the hair is relaxed and you can proceed with the straightening service. If the knot widens or opens, extend the application time and repeat the test.

8. When the hair is well relaxed, rinse hair thoroughly for 3-5 minutes and then towel-dry.

9. Apply Structure + Shine Optimizer to detangle hair and protect it from heat, comb gently to better distribute the product, then blow-dry hair completely, straightening it with the help of a brush.

10. Divide hair into 6 sections to proceed with flat ironing, maximum recommended temperature 180°C. Reapply Structure + Shine Optimizer before flat ironing, to protect hair and make the flat iron glide easily. Always straighten your hair in fine strands, from root to tip. Make 3-4 passes per strand.

11. Divide hair into 6 sections and apply Structure + Shine Agent 2 Neutralizing Cream with a brush. Apply pure, undiluted or mixed. Always starting from the nape, apply Neutralizing Cream Agent 2, strand by strand, from root to tip, to stabilize the straightening. Leave on for 5-8 minutes without a heat source.

12. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

In the 3 days following the service: do not tie your hair and do not wash your hair.
